If you’ve got a multi-language conference coming up, we’ve got everything you need to deliver it. You’ll need one double booth per language, usually positioned at the rear. Obviously it’s better not to do the floor plan last minute, but if there is a difficult deadline or a change of plan, our warehouse is a stone’s throw away from the houses of parliament. It has every piece of equipment plug and connecting wire you might ever need.

We stock the latest Bosch Integrus digital infrared simultaneous interpretation systems, which are the industry standard. All Items are regularly maintained and renewed. From delegate headsets to sound proof translation booths, tour guide systems to plasma screens.

Booths are better than whispering.

Booths expand the number of people you can interpret for from just one or two to a whole conference room. They allow the audience to become totally involved with the meaning that the speaker is conveying rather than struggling to hear or understand what’s going on.

In a typical booth set-up a mixer takes the speakers feed and puts it out the interpreting booth. There the interpreter team can create a simultaneous flow of meaning that gets relayed to an infra red distributer. This goes to the delegates portable drivers which feed their headphones. Everyone gets to hear everything, in their preferred language. It’s vastly preferable to whispering translation which really is only suitable for one, maybe two people.
